In the North Pole workshop there is a great wooden box where all the letters from the children of the world tumble down in a swirl of snow. Each evening, Santa settles into his armchair, glasses on the tip of his nose, and reads them one by one. For each one, he knows who it's from and what the child truly holds in their heart. At least… almost always. Because tonight, Santa pauses on a letter unlike the others. No name, no address, not a single word.
